Dusty

Meet the boss! Well, he use to be before he turned 29 years old. He has been with us since he was age 7 and since then has been a big part of helping to raise self esteem in our local youth. His personality is stubborn and laid back, but he pushed past every obstacle to remain the boss!

Apollo

This gelding is a gem! He is used as a confidence builder with new riders and has a sweet disposition. His specialty is with the younger riders. He will perform quite nice when asked to move.

Freyja

Freyja is in her 20's and is legally blind. She is in a paddock with Bobby for her protection. She has a hard time keeping up on her weight due to not many teeth left to chew with. We soak all her feed. She needs chopped alfalfa to maintain her weight.

Koti

Koti came to us with almost no training and needing many groceries. Since then he has come far, but has acquired the Heaves brought on by allergies. His needs are year round with special attention to his breathing. He is in his early 20's.

Mr. Ed

Mr Ed has been with us for several years. He came to us with scars above his hooves from former accidents. As a stallion, Ed was then gelded as we rescue, not breed. He is in his late teens. He loves to be groomed and cared about. Ed has allergies that need special daily additives to his feed.

Bobby

Bobby has been with us since he was 4 months old. He was specifically brought here to keep 2 blind horses safe. We enjoy listening to him braying as long as it's not in the middle of the night. Hee hee. He is very particular who gets close to his friend, Freyja.

Rocky

This horse has an amazing personality and all who know him learn to love him. He came to us with no training for riding since he could not be caught. Since then he has learned to accept a halter, saddle, and bridle. He is still a bit green in training but only needs more time under saddle.

Shrek

This horse is in his teens. He was brought here in 2024. He came with a problem with nose bleeds from time to time, which ended up to be cancer. He needs help with special dietary needs to pump up his natural immunity defenses.

Ruby

Ruby came to us in 2025 much underweight. She is up to full weight now and is trained to ride. She is about 20 years old and is use to having kids on her back.

Dallas

Dallas was brought here with Ruby from the same farm. We suspected he had Cushings Disease since his winter coat was still on him during the warmer weather. He will need special meds for the rest of his life. We are actively searching for a remedy for his diarrhea.
